    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Broadhead has spent time previously at the Red Dragons in the club's academy before moving on to Everton and then Ipswich. He made 18 appearances last season in the Premier League for the Tractor Boys, scoring twice in a campaign that ultimately ended in relegation back to the Championship.

  • WHAT MCKENNA SAID

Speaking to reporters, the Ipswich boss said: "He's expressed his desire to look at another opportunity that's been presented to him. But at this moment with the position the club is in, it's not the right time or even a possible time for us to allow a good player to leave the building."
